  1. You make such great choices – most people would not include the new car in the first photo. The second has a nice interplay between the wall texture and curving view in the distance. The third is a great little unseen scene and it goes well with the others. And finally the dent in the gutter in the last one – how do you manage to draw equal attention to that and the alley and view, without having the different focus points fight with each other? That’s the mystery to me – I wonder if you are as balanced as your photography! 😉

    • Thanks for your great comment! I would like to be as balanced as my pictures apparently are 😉

It’s no mystery. I try to achieve a realistic touch. I’m searching for talking details. If there is a car, you can’t ignore this kind of details. They tell a story. They are part of the scene. Like the dent in the gutter. What is it’s reason? The new window beside older ones (picture #4) tell a story of a step by step refurbishment. The modern plastered wall of the old shaped houses do tell a story as well. Just let your imagination take over …

  2. Bei solch einem Titel kann man auch fotografische Leckerli erwarten 😉 Wunderbare Lichtkontraste und das Spiel mit der Fluchtperspektive. Ein Augenschmaus 🙂 das Farbbild kommt besonders gut.
