  1. The last four! ­čÖé It’s always good to see another odd object wrapped up in plastic. OK, maybe not from an ecological point of view, but from an aesthetic one, it always looks interesting.

      • I have to think about that…I do think that the mystery of something wrapped up is poetic, I just never thought about it the way you described it. Interesting. I’m reading Andrea Wulf’s The Invention of Nature, about Humboldt. What an interesting man! Thanks again for getting me to think about him, and then to read this book. Never worry about a late reply.         • Yes, an interesting man in an interesting time. I hope you enjoy the book. If you ever have the chance and the time to read Daniel Kehlmann’s “Measuring the World” you won’t regret it. It’s such a charming book about a similar topic. Regards – Karl
