I always enjoy your vacations vicariously, Karl. (I realize this one was pre-pandemic). You photograph such an interesting variety of scenes, with a vision that’s only yours. This is no exception! Have a good week!
We’re fine, thank you. There are great outdoor resources nearby, but I do miss having a good espresso. The only places that are open aren’t as good as the bookstore-cafe I used to go to. Of course, we’re grateful that we haven’t lost any friends or relatives, we haven’t been sick, we haven’t lost jobs. We have a lot to be thankful for (and we are hoping for a major change in the political sphere…please!).
I’m glad to read, that you are fine. There are a lot of things we have to get used to. My favorite bar turned into something between pharmacy and takeaway restaurant. It’s so sad to see that … and you want to drink not just one wine to get over it … 😉

Thanks a lot, Lynn. This kind of pictures do help coming through these days without getting too pessimistic. I hope you are all right, regards – Karl
