  1. It must have been fun to be out taking pictures with your twin brother.. 😉
    There are some really wonderful moments here – the almost mirror-image of the men shoveling in #2, the fantastic industrial landscape in #4, with that nice, angular shadow, the isolation in #7 (New Yorker!), and best of all, the statue and the truck – wow! (Look how the statue’s chin mimics the arc on the bottom of the truck door. I’m glad you found a way to enjoy the snow. I hear you’re having crazy weather in Deutschland. Take care!

    • Dear Lynn, excellent to have you as an attentive viewer. The juxtaposition of the isolated man and the name of the shop ist so obvious. But to be honest, I haven’t seen it as I took the picture… You are the one to notice it, being a former New Yorker. Regards, Karl
