Wow, terrific finds, beautifully framed. I love the playing card, of course – that’s amazing. The people in that photos are in lock-step, that was nice, too. Could be a shoe commercial! 😉
Also, I like the way the brown rectangle in the picture frame echoes the big white line the man’s foot is stepping on. And then more lines are reflected in the glass.
Greetings from far away…I hope world events, so close to your doors, are not getting you completely down. What else can I say?
Dear Lynn, thank you so much. Taking pictures the style I tried to achieve is like being in another universe these days. But it’s my way of getting out of the daily news-mill (is that a proper expression?). Many greetings to Joe es well. It feels like 20 years ago that we met in Hannover… Regards – Karl
The daily news mill – yeah, that works! We just probably wouldn’t hyphenate it but we don’t combine words as readily as you do. It really is like being in another universe. It’s essential to escape. Joe says, “Yo!” It does feel so long ago.

“It’s essential to escape.” I’ll try that for time to time. Family and friends are helping. 🙂
