  Lieber Tilman, danke für die netten Worte. Über das Bild mit den Zwillingen bin ich auch ganz froh. Das war ein Sehen, ein schnelles in Position bringen und Auslösen. Glück gehabt. Die Formulierung “Nach 2020 sah es zumindest irgendwie selten aus” trifft es gut, wenn es darum geht, was man hier im ländlichen Raum zu sehen bekommt. Herzliche Grüße aus Leipzig! Kalle

I enjoyed this, Karl…the twins, wow! One with a mask, the other without. Mind-boggling. The pipes at the right of the photo are an echo, another set of twins. The cat caught in the middle of the intersection seems to say, “What are YOU doing here?” The 6th photo is a really fine study of forms, shapes, and structures, with the old “shadows” of former windows and a roof adding another dimension. I love the last photo, with the mix of real and painted surfaces leading the viewer to question what is what. The 1st photo is charming, and the second, well, it’s always good to find another object hidden under a tarpaulin. A great series, Karl, thank you for the diversion, and have a great week!

  It is always worth to take the time for a hike through the rural area around here. The opportunity to take a picture like that one of the twins, makes it even more interesting. Beside taking pictures, there is a lot to observe. And sometimes people are telling you some mundane stories, like an elderly man who was bitten by wasps while he opened is weekend cottage after weeks of absence. A real everyday adventure.
