A group of four strong images, any of which can stand alone fine. But when viewed as a whole, they take on additional meaning because they reflect the wider nature of the life experience. Your work is increasingly eclectic…something which I aim for as well (with plenty of failed attempts!)

I almost always take color photographs. There are some photographs that just look better in black and white though. I had one that I entitled “Grim,” and it would have been more powerful as a black-and-white photo.

  It both works well, depending on your eye. Beside the situation you want to frame, if you see colors and light corresponding, take a color picture. If you see structures, lines and patterns, take it in b/w. This is not a law. It’s just the way I do it. Guess my eye is more trained for b/w …

Besonders gut gefällt mit auch das letzte, wegen dem Wolkenhimmel und die dadurch etwas gedeckten Farben. Die knallgrüne Wiese kommt vor allem durch die Bildaufteilung gut zur Geltung. Bei diesem Motiv lohnt auch mal der Griff zu einem UWW.

  Die Farben kommen gut. Das liegt auch am speziellen Foveon-Sensor. Eine UWW gibt es für die Sigma DP leider nicht. 28mm ist das höchste der Gefühle. Es hätte ruhig ein Tick mehr sein können. Da gebe ich dir recht. Gruß zurück – KUM
